Michelle began Two Tone Press in a leaky, old loft in the industrial section of Kansas City [known as the West Bottoms] and stayed there until relocating everything to its new home here in Midtown KC.

And after six years of slow but steady progress full of Do-It-Yourself gumption [with the help of youtube videos], a few amazing friends, and some handy professionals, we are nearing the end of "Renovation Mayhem".

A wee bit of the building history:

Back in 1925, female entrepreneur Kate Hinkle, constructed this building to house her growing French Laundry business as well as her upstairs apartment. Eventually, she employed 30 women and had two delivery trucks.

Two Tone Press hopes to continue this legacy.
